Equal Pay Day
In April, we recognize Equal Pay Day. It took place on April 4th, because that date symbolizes how far into the year women must currently work to earn what men earned in the previous year. By ensuring girls grow up strong, smart, and bold, Girls Inc. prepares them to build their skills and confidence so they can strive to close the gender wage gap.
Join us as we advocate for policies that advance girls' rights and opportunities at action.girlsinc.org and learn more about Equal Pay Day at https://www.pay-equity.org/day.html
